make: happy garden organic baby quilt

As I was making the happy garden organic baby quilt, I thought it would be fun to document the process. This quilt is perfect for summer, as it is lightweight but still warm. It is perfect for napping, traveling, cuddling and burping. It also doubles as a cover-up when feeding, a soft play mat, or a picnic blanket.
I cut one layer of organic cotton for the top, one layer of eco recycled batting for the middle and one layer of organic cotton flannel for the back.
I pressed the entire quilt and stitched a border and at 6 inch intervals to give it a traditional appearance.
This quilt is now available to buy in my etsy shop.
