farnsworth house
While I was wandering around the Lego shop this morning, I discovered some new additions to their Architecture collection. When I was last in NY, I bought a model of the Empire State building.
I was drawn to a model of Farnsworth House, a mid-century modern house built in 1951 by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe. I didn't know it existed before, but now I can't stop looking at it!
I love the simplicity and floor to ceiling windows... perhaps the lego version may go some way to satisfying my longing for a mid-century house!
Well it'll certainly be cheaper! Very nice find.
